I'm a Winner!

Back in July already, I won the monthly caption contest over at Linden Line Designs.

I was so very excited! I was able to choose a beautiful collar of my own for a prize.

Well, let me tell you, it was no easy decision. There are so many beautiful and fun designs to choose from, I wanted one of each. But Mom said I have to pick just one. Meh! She wouldn't give up the credit card.

So, being that I am the founding member of the Sunflower Club, and there was a beautiful sunflower pattern, that is what I chose.

As you can see, I look so good in my new collar, I have chosen a photo of me modeling it for my September header picture.

I must admit, Brigitte was a little miffed that she didn't get one also.

" What the heck does this say? Congratulations for winning our photo caption contest?!"

"Where's mine?"

I told her I would share mine, but she really wants her own. I was looking forward to bragging rights, but I gotta say, it doesn't feel like I thought it would. So I am totally stealing Mom's credit card and ordering Brigitte her own!

By the way, Brigitte is by no means suffering without having her own collar. She has totally taken ownership of the dogs house. She is calling it "Chateau Britte"! She's in there all the time!
