All Better

Hi everybody! I had another private drive with Mom this morning to my eye doctor for a recheck. My infection, and ulcer are all healed. That is the good news. The not as good news, is that I had a blocked tear duct. Do you know what they do when you have a blocked tear duct?! Well, I do. Unfortunately when they brought the syringe out with the needle like apparatus at the end, Mom, the NURSE, turned her back! She claimed something about not wanting to see her baby go through this procedure. Yeah, well I think she's just not as tough as she claims to be. Either way, on the BILL it said irrigation, and she knows that that means flushing. Whatever, I wasn't really into it either, so I farted. Loud! Right while they were working with me. The tech said she could feel it rumbling in my belly first. That's right, I reached deep into my bowel and pulled out a real winner. Mine don't stink, so it wasn't all that bad. Coulda been worse, coulda been Brigitte. Now those are some noxious fumes. That chug can beef!

The two best things about today's trip were-

A. That I don't have to go back for four whole months, and

B. We went and got me my own private bully stick!

That's right! I got to gnaw to my hearts content all the way home from the vet.

This made me very happy.

And let's face it folks, when Wilma is happy, everyone is happy.

Hope you all have a great weekend! Stop back by, I am going to try and get mom to help me post some more awesome content.

  1. Wilma, you never disappoint. You are a riot! I am so happy that your eye is all better! Can't wait to see what's up next.

  2. Hi Wilma my friend.
Thank goodness your all better. I would have farted or pooped or something too!
Your mom takes such good care of you! And to have your own bully stick to chew on- that made for a perfect day.
Good job on getting your eye all better.

  3. Wilma, you are awesome! Farting on the table? Who's better than you? NO pug!

We're very glad to hear you're better and got your very own private bully stick :)

  4. Aw, Wilma, that first picture of you and the bully stick is so precious! Glad things got sorted out at the vet and that you don't have to go back for four months, and glad you got to get a bully stick and some quality time with your mama! (okay, it was really some quality time with the bully stick, but sometimes ya just gotta say the right thing! hee)

  5. Wilma, so happy your eye is getting better but that needle thing didn't sound real spiffy! That bully stick hopefully made up for it!

  6. I am so glad your eyes are better and you don't have to go back for a while! That bully stick almost made the trip to the vet tolerable!

  7. Good for you Wima dear. Pawsonally, a trip to the Vet is totally worth a bully stick all to yourself. Heck yes.

  8. Wilma don't orry us like that. we are so happee you are better

  9. LOL, you did a great job at the vet, Wilma!
and look what it got you, your own bully stick.

  11. So happy to hear that your eye is all better. I bet your peeps are happy, too, since all those vet visits tap into their mad money.

I cannot believe your mom had to turn away when the syringe arrived. What is up with that? I mean, I know you are her baby but she does this stuff all the time, right? I really thought she was tough but I guess not when it comes to you.

In the end, the vet visit was totally worth it because you got to spend time with your mom (alone) and even got a bully stick. That's a win-win in my book.

  12. oh man wilma, i laughed so hard i CRIED thinking about you farting to get back at the vet. sounds like something my phyllis would do. though she lets it rip pretty much every time you pick her up.

  13. We are so glad you are feeling better! Not good about the tear duct though - that's scary! That looks like a yummy chewie! ~ Douglas & Norman

  14. Wilma you are the best, I have to try that trick some time. Payback is deserved. Good to know you don't have to go back for a while and YAY for the bullystick!

  15. HA! You GO, honey, fartin' on them vet people!

Matter o' fact, I just let one rip as I was typin'. Glad yer doin' better, honey.

  16. you show them who's gassy boss, wilma! shoulda made it a stinky one just to teach them a lesson...

  17. Hi Wilma! I'm sorry to hear about your time at the Vet but it is really good that you dont have to go back for a few months AND that you got that yummy looking Bully Stick - it looks super tasty, you look like you are enjoying it! At least you had a tear duct irrigation and not a colonic irrigation, now that would have really made you fart really, really loud!!!! Heee,Heee! Love, Licks and Pugs from your friend Frank xxxxxxxx

  18. Glad its all better
