Good morning world! We are all fine following the hot mess that went down here on the East coast this weekend. We are one of the over 800,000 Connecticut Light and Power customers who will probably not get our power back for at least a week however.
Don't worry about me though, I am basing my operation out of my remote hub over at Grammy and Grampy's. I am told I can stay as long as I like as long as I don't poop on the rug. I think I can handle that. Not sure about the other two, only time will tell.
So we are working on a more efficient posting source other than Mom's iPhone. Sunflower party still on so far. I'll keep you posted of any changes.
Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween, it's pretty spooky around here at night with half the state being dark and what not.
I'll leave you with this old shot of me in costume for now. Today I guess you could say I am "dresses up" as a gypsy.
OMP, hopefully the power will be back for everyone soon. The same goes for Philadelphia, the snow blew away our Halloween plans. Next weekend should be clear, stay warm my friend!

This is just crazy Wilma! Sorry your power is out, but I guess it's a good excuse to spend time with Grammy and Grampy! I'll be sending you my pictures for the party later today, but if you do end up needed to postpone, we totally understand. Say hi to Brig and Sluggo for me. And make sure that even though there may not be any trick-or-treaters that come by, you still get some treats!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Payton

Hi Wilma,
ReplyDeleteI was worried about you all. Glad you have a place to go and stay warm. The weather is definitely broken.
Hugs,
Suki
PS, Mom will be emailing you some pictures.
We are so sorry you have no power. Mom says that 72% of our city had no power as of yesterday. It is down to 56% now. We are some of the lucky ones, we never lost power. Come on over here if you want, we'll have a sleep over.

Ma Nature is still in a snit, I see! Hope your power comes back on sooner rather than later! In the meantime, enjoy Grammy and Grampy's (and don't poop on the rug please)! Happy Halloween!

I just keep thinking it would have been so nice to have snow that would have kept those pesky trick or treater's away from my door! I did not enjoy them at all. You look very cozy in your bed by the fireplace.
