Remembering Emmett ~ A True Gentleman Among Pugs

As many of you know, our friend Emmett passed over the Rainbow Bridge today.
We have very heavy hearts thinking about his Mom and Dad Melissa and Fred who will miss him so deeply.

Emmett was a truly special pug, who touched the hears of all who knew him.
Instead of weeping, we have decided to celebrate Emmett's life with some memories.

After all, that is how we dogs live, for all the moments we share with our loved ones.
For the now, for the love of life.

We know we will see our friend Emmett again some day.
We will all share mini meatloaves together over the bridge.

For now we will stay close by our humans,
they need us extra.
We can feel it in way the are hugging us a little tighter today.

Emmett was a loving friend. He expressed it best here .
And yes Emmett we could always feel it.

Emmett was generous. He always took such pleasure in sharing with us all through his giveaways. This is a picture of him with the sock monkey Sluggo won from him. We will treasure it always.

Emmett loved a party. We had such fun celebrating his 14th Birthday with him this past year.

Here he is dressed in red joining us girls at Camp Sunflower.
Such a great sense of humor.

And he could sing. You should check him out here teaching his Mother Bear how to sing.

We will miss you dear friend Emmett, but we will never forget you.
Please stop by and offer his Mom and Dad some words of comfort at this sad time.

We have also started a page dedicated to Emmett at Gratefulness.org where you can light a candle and leave a message for Emmett.
