A Tale of Christmas Past

Hello friends! I know you have missed me, so I decided I better get to it and check in with my peeps. Now, I have a few items on my agenda this evening, but first and foremost, I am dedicating this post to Mom and Dad.
Why, you may ask? Let's just say I have been giving them a large ration of shit these days, and I figured I would lighten the mood a bit.
Plus, I finally convinced Mom to cough up the 5 bucks and buy me some more room on Picasa so I could change my header picture.

Check me out. Look how petite I was. This picture was taken during my first Christmas season. So, if I am remembering right, by the time this photo was taken, I had already left a gift under the tree for Mom and Dad. A gift they wouldn't discover until January when they were taking down the tree. Yup, I had searched around for the perfect spot to leave my very own yule log. Too bad they couldn't enjoy it during the holiday. But just think, years later, it is still the gift that keeps on giving.
So just remember guys, even if I do give you a little grief some of the time, I always have way more tricks up my fur sleeve to keep you laughing!

A quick update on my eye. Had to take a trip down to the eye doctor this morning cuz the thing was looking worse. Seems I have some kind of resistant bacteria growing. But they cultured it, and gave me some different meds, and the doc says I'll be just fine. So don't you worry about me!
Here I am on the way home, stealing Mom's seat. I had a nice comfy ride on the heated seat, not bad, not bad at all. I think from now on, no matter if there is one or two humans, I will be riding shotgun. At least until the winter is over anyway!

I'll definitely be checking back in before the holiday, so have a great week!

  5. Bol to the yule log. Very sneaky. We feel you with w the reindeer get up. Mom has put us through that. Looks like you handled it a lot better than we did. Glad your eye is doing better. I just got back from the eye doc myself (blog coming soon).

  6. You really rock antlers, Wilma.
Good thing your parents are keeping up with your eye. Nothing to mess with, the old peepers. Isabelle just had an eye med change herself. If it ain't one thing, it's another.

  16. wilma,
I think you were trying to do the parents a favor by hiding your prize, and they could enjooy the holidays and then find another surprise. The antlers do look good on you then and such a pretty color.
