Thank Goodness for CSN! At Least I Know Someone Cares about my Welfare.

Hello all my people. You are NOT going to believe what I was subjected to this morning. Frankly, I'm having a hard time believing it myself. There I was, snug in my cozy comfy warm and toasty bed, dreaming away of my beloved Murphy and pizza crust, when suddenly.... I was ripped out of bed, thrown out into the cold, dark and snowy backyard, and given about ten seconds to do my business. A meager bowl of kibble was hastily thrown down on the floor, and before I could say WTF, eye drops were sprayed into my eyes and out the door they went.

Not only did they leave at the a$$ crack of dawn in the dark of night, but nary an ember of warmth from my fire! Really? This is not what those poor excuses for parents were hired to do. I require a parent to stay in the bed until the sun comes out, for one. I mean, it's not normal, leaving the house when it is still dark out. Then, to just put me out, in the first flakes of winter without even photographic documentation for posterity? That chance will not come around again. Pictures of me in the second snow fall of the year are meaningless. I am sorry for you all that you had to miss it. Mom muttered something about an early shift. I am NOT interested in her lame excuses. Do your job, or much like executive Sluggo, I will be forced to replace you. Don't think I won't do it.

Anyway, back to my friends at CSN Last month they contacted me about maybe doing another giveaway or review for them. I chose to do a review this time. Thank goodness I had the foresight to check out one of their K&H warming dog beds.

I was very excited to receive the package in the mail. I ordered the medium size, which fits one normal pug plus one needy pug quite nicely.

Although Brigitte was the first to check it out.

I a$$Ed her out pretty quick.

Then Sluggo came along to check things out.

What is great about this bed, is that it is made from a material that reflects the heat from your body back to you. This is handy, when your humans leave you in the dead of winter to fend for yourself. It is also good for certain young pugs who can't be trusted not to chew the stuffing out of random items. We would never be able to use one of those electric warming beds. Too unsafe.

The bed comes in bigger sizes, so we could have gotten one to fit us all, but this one fits perfectly in the kitchen where the ice cold floors are. But we would definitely get one of the larger sizes next time.

It is also made of a super soft velour material in two pretty colors. We chose green and brown, but they have blue also. We haven't had to wash it yet, but it doesn't stink of pug, which is a good sign after almost a month of use. It does look sturdy and we think it will hold up fine to a wash.

So, if you are abused and neglected by your parents like we are, maybe you could steal a credit card and go over to CSN stores and do some shopping.

  1. Very interesting review. Isabelle and Quincy are always on the look out for warm beds. And they like the shape of that one. It's a rectangle or a circle or nothing for them.
Isabelle has a warming disk, called the Snuggle Safe, that she gets every day. It's zapped in the microwave for 5 minutes, then radiates heat for up to 12 hours. Since she and Quincy have 6 teeth between them, there's little risk of chewing, but it's supposed to be chew safe, too.
We can't have any of the plug in kind, because A- Mom is super cheap about electricity and energy and save the earth blah blah blah, and B- certain elderly puggies have a tendency to leak. Mom is freaked out that someone might leak on a cord that might or might not have been nibbled on by a cat and get electrocuted.
So thank you! We'll have to check that bed out.

  3. OOOOH...If only our Human's purse wasn't up so high on the kitchen counter....

Sorry that you had to deal with early morning madness. It kinda reminds me of the time when our Human woke us up early for this place called "Universal Studios" so we were blinded by the light for about an hour or two and when finally the Human left - we got some shut eye for the rest of the morning.

Good luck with the advertising dear Wilma!

  4. What an awesome bed! Looks very comfy cozy. My mom won't buy me a new bed until as she says "I stop peeing in them!!" But I say - when nature calls.....and besides, I'm ONLY six months old.

  8. Looks like a pretty cool bed. Well, warm actually, but you know what I mean. Waking you up early was bad enough, but eye drops shot in your eye??? That is just wrong. These humans need to get it together. You should wake yours up at 3am just for spite like I did this morning. He he.
