"Pugs aren't like dogs, they are more like cocktail guests"
Aside from coming away from The Cape fully understanding why Provincetown was named #1 Dogtown USA by Dog Fancy Magazine, I also received one of the most brilliant pieces of wisdom I have ever heard.
We pugs know that we are a little different from other dogs. But, when I ever heard one of the multitudes of pug fans I met last week liken us to cocktail guests, I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of it myself.
I mean, it suits us perfectly.
So, when I saw these cocktail napkins at this cute little shop called Drinkx on Commercial St. I just had to get them.
You know no party is complete without a pug, so be sure to spread the word.
So, while I can not call them my words of wisdom, I would be remiss if I did not share this observation with the world.
Mint Julep anyone?
Where is our mixologist?!
Hi Wilma, I am so going to spread the words on this. Yup, no party is complete withouts a pug. Actually us pugs are the life of the party even when we aren't at the party. BOL.
ReplyDeleteGreat napkins, mum saw them in a store the other day!
Winston
Wilma, what a brilliant idea! Pug cocktail parties would be so much more fun than human ones. I think you need a red sequined cocktail dress for the occasion!
ReplyDeleteAh Wilma, the wisdom is in knowing when to share, and when to be discreet. we second the motion on the coctail party. Gotta find dresses that match our collars....

Thank yous Ms. Wilmas on the wonderful wisdom. We missed it...we needs it ever so much. Wes definently agree that Life is not worth living to our pawrents unless they have a puggum since we are the life of the parties. Don't forget to enter our drawing by visiting our bloggy and posting something. Mama #2 says that she will put the whole familys name on the ticket even if it comes from just one of the family members. Somethin' about the gift is worth sharing with everyone. Whateves.
